Ain’t It True

I’ve been working with a new brush and I love the texture I’m getting on my paintings.

We are still sheltered in place in Washington and will be through May 31. That’s a long time. But we have a large outbreak of COVID 19. There really is no choice if we want to keep the numbers of deaths down and not have this disease spread.

I LOVE this painting! It’s so energetic, bright and delightful, it makes me smile at the sense of play. Would you mind sharing what your new brush is, and what mediium/s you used?

Kerry, thank you so much! I am to tickled you sent this to me. Now all I have to do is purchase the program….I have had a great time exploring all of the possibilities on the Corel Painter site. I might begin with the ParticleShop and see how it goes! Thank you so much for your inspiring artwork and direction.

You can get a 30 day trial of Painter. The brushes I sent you are a bit tricky and might be difficult for someone just starting with Painter. Good luck.

Hi Kerry! I am having a lot of fun playing with the the plug-in corel paint created for photoshop that I purchases this morning. And alternatively reading through the plethora of information on Skip Allen’s site. I am definite going to give corel paint a try (toys!) I have found that a lot of tablet based art programs have a common cross platform similarity, and its just a matter of getting in there and experimenting like crazy. Thank you so much again!
